🚚 Shipping Rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

⏱ Order Processing

Parcel Post orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Express orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Mech Tools is based in Victoria, Australia. Orders received on Victorian public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

🚚 Delivery Timeframes

We ship all orders Australia-wide using Australia Post.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Standard Shipping (Australia-wide): 2–8 business days
  • Express Shipping (Australia-wide): 1–4 business days

If you select Authority to Leave, Australia Post may leave your parcel in a safe place at your address.

MechTools is not responsible for parcels lost or stolen after being marked as delivered.

If you require signature on delivery, please select the appropriate shipping option at checkout.

⚠️ Delayed or Missing Parcels

If your parcel is significantly delayed or appears lost in transit, please contact us at:

We will lodge an investigation with Australia Post and assist in resolving the issue as quickly as possible.

Incorrect Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Mech Tools is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.

❌ Change of Mind Returns

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind.

Mech Tools does not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

At our discretion, we may offer an exchange or store credit under the conditions outlined below.

To be eligible for an exchange, all items must:

  • Be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
  • Be returned with original packaging, accessories, and documentation
  • Show no signs of use, damage, modification, or installation

Items returned in unacceptable condition will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Full-priced items may be eligible for an exchange or store credit if:

  • You contact us within 7 days of delivery, and
  • The item is returned within 7 days of approval

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

All items marked CLEARANCE are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit.

Discount codes and storewide sales do not classify items as clearance items.

Any clearance items returned will be sent back to the customer at their expense.

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at:

All items must be returned to MechTools for assessment before any repair, replacement, or refund is issued. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

We will assess the item and, where required, arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Please allow up to 14 business days for processing once the item has been returned to Mech Tools and assessed for damage or manufacturing faults.

  • Return shipping for change of mind, exchanges, or store credit is the responsibility of the customer
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
